#10 Two stretch goals unlocked! / Chapter Boss Monster reveal

Hello all,

first of all, we are 128% funded! What a day yesterday. We can't thank you enough.

We have unlocked the second and third stretch goal!! This means there are now four more NPCs in Fairhaven, 5 new items, and a whole new encounter. Will you be able to find the secret NPC, the odds might not be in your favor, but the rewards are legendary.

Chapter Boss Monster

Fairhaven will have four chapters and every chapter will have a Boss Monster you will have to encounter in order to move forward. These chapter Bosses offer challenging encounters and the complexity of their mechanics will increase over the course of your Journey.

This however does not mean that there are only four chapter Bosses in Fairhaven, depending on the path you choose and the choices you make you will change the faith of the land, the challenges that await you, and with it the Boss Monsters you will have to face.

See below an example of one of the Boss Monsters from Chapter 2 of Fairhaven, they will also feature a full page of Art.

#9 Scope update / First stretch goal unlocked

Hello all,

First of all, we are 111% funded. Thank you all, this means we have unlocked the first of many stretch goals: More Endings

With this unlock we will add two additional endings to our story, including a dark one for everyone interested in a more evil setting.

Scope Update

We have finished mapping out the complete Story of the Fairhaven book and have some great news. First of all, the book will be significantly larger than we first expected. We were estimating about 400 pages, but with the now restructured stretch goals and a few more additions to the story, we are currently looking at about 650 pages. This will of course also increase the estimated play-through from 3-5 hours to 5-8 hours. So overall, a lot more content for you to enjoy at the same price. Additionally, we will add achievements and different difficulties to the book. Difficulties will have a big impact on how ultimate failure or death will be handled in our story.

 To better reflect the updated scope for potential new backers, we have updated our 'What to expect'.

Hello all,

we are fully funded!!! We can't believe we are at this point with 10 days left in the campaign. Thank you all so very much for your support and trust in our work. The base books have now been achieved, and up next chasing those content stretch goals.

Vote Addon Resin Dice-Set - Results

- 1 Vote: Light Green

- 3 Votes: Red

- 4 Votes: Black

- 4 Votes: Blue

- 7 Votes: Woody green

And we have a winner! The Woody Green set, which was presented as an example has won the vote. But seeing as a lot of you participated in this vote and would like those dice in their preferred colors, we have decided to offer them in Woody Green, Black, Blue, and Red separately! So check out our new add-ons to select the set you like most. The original Addon will be for the Woody Green Dice set. So if you already pledged for this addon and now want to switch to another color, please switch over to the respective addon!

New Book Covers Vote

Our designer has been working overtime since it became apparent that we would reach our funding goal this soon into the campaign and has proposed an update to our Book covers. For everyone wondering why there are three covers in the image below, the dark one is the cover for our Dungeon Master guide to Fairhaven. This one might be a bit into the future, but we are quite confident we will reach that stretch goal together.

We originally wanted to offer an additional Kickstarter exclusive deluxe edition for our books, but seeing as we were a tad too enthusiastic, we scrapped that idea as we would have had to print too many small batches of books. Nevertheless, you all rock, and we at least wanted to give you the choice. Do you want to keep the current design of our books, or switch you all over to the new ones? This vote will remain open until the end of the campaign.

We are also exploring some new styles for our books, please see an example below and let us know in the comments if you prefer this new style or the one from our reading sample.

Hello all,

first of all, we are 90% funded! You are amazing! In the last Update we promised that you'll get to chose the colors of our addon - resin dice set! 

Please see below two examples of green dice that Lutz made just a few days ago. Excuse the photography skills, but they look awesome in person, I promise. 

So please comment under this post what primary color would you like? Red, green, blue, black, etc. Lutz will then create a set in the winning colour and you'll get to choose the number colouring as well!

We will leave the vote open for 36 hours.
