Hello all,

first of all, we are finished, just shy of 700 backers and we are 213% funded! Incredible.

We can't thank you enough for making our project a reality, it is an incredible feeling for us to make this dream of ours come true with all of you! 

Next Steps

A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment.

Here's a quick rundown:

First,  Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds.

Second, we have to find out where we need to ship your pledges. We’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect this information. We are currently planning fulfillment end of next year. The PDF will be supplied via a download link over BackerKit in October 2024. We are and will be working hard on delivering sooner, but we rather keep expectations reasonable and make this Story the best version it can be.

We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey.

If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out).

BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter or BackerKit account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact me.

Again, thanks for all your support. We can’t wait to finish Journey Through Fairhaven and get it shipped.

Pre-Order Store

Our Pre-order Store is now officially open, so for everyone who missed out on the campaign, click that neat button on our main page or the link in this paragraph to get there. Here you can pre-order every item we offered during our live campaign, albeit with a slightly higher price.

#14 Final stretch goal / Post-Campaign

Hello all,

wow, we are blown away by the sheer amount of people who have backed our project. 604 backers and over 20k is incredible. Thank you all so much.

This of course means we have cracked our last official stretch goal! You all wanted more content and we shall deliver! Three additional endings have been unlocked🔓.

Post campaign update 

As some questions have reached us about the possibility to change, or add to your pledge after the campaign has ended, we wanted to officially make a statement on this matter, so that everyone is fully informed. We already shared that we will be working with BackerKit, but we didn't explain in detail what that entailed. So for everyone that is unfamiliar I'll give you a rundown. 

After the campaign has ended we will launch our Pre-Order Store on Backerkit, here everyone who missed the campaign will be able to purchase everything that our campaign offered, as well as just a single coppy of our story book, at a slightly increased price. The dice will be priced the same, but everything else has received a slight markup. So for everyone still on the brink, back now and get the exclusive Kickstarter prices.

Two weeks after the campaign has ended, and your payments have been processed and transfered, the pledge manager survey will open. You will recieve an individual link via email to access your pledge manager. There your pledged amount will be shown as credits you can spend. Your pledge level will be preselected, but you can add, or upgrade, as much as you want. After you have selected what you want to purchase, you will be prompted to insert your adress and this in turn will trigger your outstanding amount for shipment. Shipping will be linked directly to the weight of your order and will increase with the amount of physical items you have added.

Important here is, as was already communicated, if you have selected a physical item, or a physical pledge, you will have to pay for shipping, as otherwise we won't be able to send out your pledge.

That being said if you either still have an outstanding amount due to shipping costs, or if you have decided to add to your pledge, or if you missed the campaign and want to pre-order something, you will be able to pay via credit card, or PayPal.

#13 Stretch goal unlock / Resin dice update / Discord Server

Hello all,

first of all, we are 167% funded!

We have unlocked the next couple of stretch goals, more Items, Enemies, and Maps, as well as the class-specific items as winners of the Stretch goal vote!

This however means that the Cardbord Tokens have been replaced by the Class items as a stretch goal. The vote is going on for another 50 hours, but as it stands, I think we can safely assume the outcome. We have heard your voices on this matter and we weighted votes of people with physical pledges higher, as they stood to lose something exclusive. The Class items still won by a landslide with 22 votes against 5. As compensation, we will however add printable tokens to the Digital Pack that every Backer will receive.

This means even more content for you to enjoy!

Up next is already our last Stretch goal at 20.000€, even more Endings, Let's hope on the last 48-hour rush and get this unlocked as well!

Lutz has finished casting and painting our first resin dice examples, so please find them below:

Discord Server

As we have amassed 536 backers as of now, we have decided (due to some suggestions) to open up a Discord server. Journey Through Fairhaven has a lot of use cases and we have already heard of different ways our reading sample has already been used, one backer used it to show and teach a friend how to DM a game, and others have used it to run a short segment for a whole group. We are excited about all the different ways you will experience and make use of our project and want you to share them with us.

We will also create a Playtest channel in which you all can get early access to some pages and give us feedback on our creation. Fairhaven is not the Journey of Lutz and myself alone, It is the Journey of us all.

#12 VTT Maps + More Enemies unlock / Stretch Goal Battle vote

Hello all,

first of all, we are 154% funded!

We have managed to unlock the next two stretch goals! Almost a stretch goal a day at the moment. With this unlocked, we will create a VTT package for all our maps and tokens for all enemies and add 5 more items, 2 more enemies, and 2 additional maps to our Storybook!

Stretch Goal battle

During our vote most of you wanted our stretch goals to add more content to our project. The next upcoming Stretch goal would add cardboard tokens to every physical Pledge. We now want to provide you with a choice, do you want the cardboard tokens, or do you want us to exchange this stretch goal and add 12 class-specific items that grow in power as your character grows in experience. This vote will be open until the campaign has ended. See an example below:
